The water tower in the Chatham-Kent resort on the southern coast of England was repaired after it collapsed in the summer of 2015, according to the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada.
The tower was a new addition to the resort and was intended to be a water supply for the resort, which was being renovated.
But it collapsed during the renovation.
“The water tower had been in the water tank when it came off the hook in the early days of the refurbishment,” says Dr. Robert Smith, an assistant professor of surgery at the University of British Columbia.
“This tower was intended as a water storage for the new building, and the problem was that it did not stay in place as the refurbished building was being built.”
The tower collapsed due to a leak in the reservoir wall.
“We are currently monitoring the water flow and we will take action if it continues to rise,” Smith says.
“But for now we are not in a position to be taking any action to correct this problem.”
Smith says that although it’s not uncommon for water towers to be repaired, it’s a much more complicated issue.
“Typically it’s just a leak, but the problem with this particular tower is that there was a failure of the water line and the water came down and into the water supply,” he says.
Smith says it’s important to know exactly what happened and what you can do to prevent it from happening again.
“You should not be swimming in the pool at all,” he advises.
“And make sure that you’re using the pool handrail and not using the railing.”
Smith also advises that you should not swim in the pools pool louvers.
“In general, you should be swimming and playing in the swimming pool,” he adds.
“I know that the pool is an amazing experience, but there are some places that you shouldn’t be swimming or swimming in there.”
