Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Release Date: August 22, 2016The Pokémon Company International announced the official release date for the upcoming games on Twitter.
The announcement also stated the game will be released in North America and Europe, as well as Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei, Cambodia, and Indonesia on August 22.
The official announcement also included a video showing off the new Pokédex.

Pokémon OmegaRuby & Alpha Serena are set to release on September 1, 2018, with Pokémon Omega Sapphire on October 11, 2018.
The next two games will be Pokémon Omega Blue and Pokémon Omega Alpha Serene.
Pokémon OmegaRuby and Alpha Serenes games will come with new game modes that will expand the Pokémon universe and make the Pokémon worlds more detailed.
The new modes will be “Seed Mode” and “Dusk Mode.”
These modes will allow players to create and evolve Pokémon of a specific species and species combination.
The Pokémon Omega games are the newest entries in the main Pokémon series.
The core Pokémon series was created by the Pokémon Corporation in 1995, and it continues to evolve as more Pokémon are released.
The first Pokémon games released in 1997.
